Which fonts can I use?

Because very few fonts are supported across all email clients, your choice of fonts is rather limited in the email world.

In MailPoet, the Styles tab offers these email safe fonts:

Here's the list, if you need to copy it for some reason:

  • Arial
  • Comic Sans MS
  • Courier New
  • Georgia
  • Tahoma
  • Times New Roman
  • Trebuchet MS
  • Verdana

Images as titles

If you need to differentiate your newsletters with a special font that is not supported natively by email clients, just use an image, like this one:

And include it before your text paragraph:

The lowdown is the fact that more than 34% of email clients don't show your newsletter's images by default. Also, Spam filters themselves dislike emails that have too many images and not enough text.

Our honest opinion: if you can handle Photoshop and make a few headlines as images, great. Otherwise, stick to the available fonts. Your font choice will be limited, but you'll be readable by everybody.
